Almost three decades ago, in 1995, an extraordinary transformation began: what was once a dense pine forest would become today's Terroir, home to the exclusive native variety, Hondarrabi Zuri.

Three years later, the first vines were planted in the plots known as Etxebarri and Zearrustasena, in honor of the historic Etxebarri Farmhouse that stands in the center of our property. Here, the dream began to take shape.

In September 2001, our winery came to life and hosted the first harvest of Txakoli Aguirrebeko in its brand new facilities.

The year 2005 marked an important milestone with the launching of Berroia USA, which since then has conquered the American continent. Nowadays, our Txakoli Aguirrebeko and Berroja are appreciated in countries as far away as Japan, Germany, Sweden, Belgium...

In 2008, we achieved accreditation of the Integrated Production System, which is integrated at every stage, from the vineyard to packaging, with sustainability at the core of our operations.

Our constant search for excellence has allowed us to perfect our products and services over the years. In 2010, we transformed our social lounge into a 400 square meter space overlooking the vineyard, equipped with audiovisual technology. A meeting place between our little paradise and those who visit it.

We approach our thirtieth anniversary facing the future with the same passion as the first day, carrying with us the wealth of experience and the daily commitment to quality and tradition.
